9 Billion Lost In Iraq Reconstruction

 According to various news reports:  95% of the 9 billion dollars for Iraq reconstruction, cannot be found.

  This is a great tragedy.  Just think about using that 9 billion for US construction of schools, hiring teachers, giving cancer victims free care.  All of these American issues could be funded with 9 billion dollars. So, who is in charge? 

 At least Senator Harry Truman, had the "right stuff," to oversight the spending during the start of World War II.   Why is there not a "Truman," to get it straight now?

After 9 years of conflict in Afghanistan, suitcases of cash have been sent to President Karzi, according to other news reports.

The administration there is corrupt by all accounts, and our treasure in uniform are dying and being disabled for what cause.....so the taliban can't stone women to death, and not allow children to go to school?

We are fighting the mentality of the 12th Century.  It is an impossible task.Like Vietnam, we are involved in a civil war.Over 120 Democrats in the house refused to go along with the funding for that war...but it is not enough.  The GOP is voting to continue the funding of that war.Let's end this disgrace now......support our troops, but not the war.
