It is really not important, after 15-18, head to head Democratic debates so far in this primary election season, but Hillary Clinton pulled out that old political phony: A challenge to debate before the Wisconsin Primary.
If he doesn't debate, then she uses an empty chair, or says he is afraid to debate me on the issues.
It is all political theater..and has nothing to do with reality.
In any case, they will be debating on national television on Feb. 21st.
How should Senator Obama meet this latest challenge?
Easy: Challenge Mrs. Clinton to release her income tax returns before agreeing to extra debates.
The former First Lady says she will release her income tax statements after the primaries.....so what is she hiding?
Obviously she is hiding income from Bill Clinton's extra income he receives from special interest speaking fee's of 100-thousand dollars or more per speech, and other income that may not look to good to the average voting Democrat.
Also, it is hard for Senator Clinton to look like the underdog, when she shows her net worth to be over 30-million dollars...while Senator Obama's is less than one million dollars...and he has already made his income tax report public.
So, Senator Clinton, if you want to play these games....What are you hiding?

It really bothers me that the Clintons will not release this tax info now. They have to be hiding something. Maybe she is afraid that all the money they have will turn off the blue collar workers that support her.
I am SO tired of the debates. I like Obama's ad that he is now running in WI against her debate ad. Clinton just wants free ad time. She does well in debates. But Obama does better in person with the people and that is where he needs to be. I don't need my President to be a good debater.
Thanks for writing.

Thanks, Judy.
The Feb 21st debate on CNN is really important, prior to Texas. He has to hold Hillary below 60% of that vote, in order to keep his lead.
Texas, Ohio and Penn. will be a difficult time for Obama supporters. However, if he wins any of those states,he should win the nomination.
